Good Afternoon,
On Wednesday morning, we received a notification of an MSE Facebook post that threatened to do harm to the school. Whoever posted the information, immediately removed the post. The Walton County Sheriff Department was notified and they began an investigation to determine the validity of the threat. At this time, the Walton County Sheriff Department has closed the investigation and there was no evidence to indicate this was a credible threat. As always, the safety of our children is our number one priority and we are going to continue to keep children safe, and parents informed, at Maude Saunders Elementary School.
