Maude Saunders has an active Parent Teacher Organization that takes on the responsibility for school fundraisers and provides the "extras" that our students and staff enjoy each year. Last year, in addition to planning and executing a fall festival and spring dance, the PTO provided all of the trophies and awards for our mid-year and end-of-year awards assemblies, water slides and other rewards for academic and behavioral achievement, funding for a new state-of-the art morning show room, upgrades to our school audio system, instruments for our music department, p.e. equipment, recess bags (balls, frisbees, etc) for all classrooms, supplemental funding for field trips, staff appreciation gifts and food, and more.
