Ms. Donnita Carroll’s class led the charge during the month of April to create a spectacular wall mural, representing Autism Awareness. Students and staff across the school were invited to complete a puzzle piece for the wall and created a beautiful cohesive art instillation for ECMS that will make us smile past the month of April! Congratulations to the class for leading ECMS in taking pause to create something from the hearts of Stingrays for the hearts of others to enjoy! Submitted by Angela Vance.

Teachers give us so much. A boost of confidence when we really need one. Extra help when we’re having trouble. A welcoming presence when everything else seems out of control. And though we know we can’t ever thank them enough, we can take a moment during Teacher Appreciation Week to share our appreciation for the special educators in our lives.
Please join Superintendent Hughes and all the District Administration and staff in thanking the amazing teachers of the Walton County School District this week, May 1-5, as we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week. Submitted by Keitha Bledsoe.
