Teachers at West DeFuniak are placing an emphasis on grammar this year.  In an effort to encourage students and staff to promote better punctuation and grammar, Principal Darlene Paul ordered new shirts for all of her staff.   Shirts proudly proclaim Let's eat grandma. Let's eat, Grandma. Punctuation saves lives.  Grandma probably prefers the second punctuation!  Fifth grade teachers Debbie Bush, Olivia Garrett, Hope Allen, Jana Currid, and Andy Stafford are pictured sporting their new shirts. Wise Center Pre-k Orientation was an exciting and successful day.  The children enjoyed meeting their teachers and exploring in their new rooms.
